Tim Shorey is senior pastor of Trinity Fellowship Church in Toms River, New Jersey. At our Pastors Conference in November, Tim took about ten minutes to tell the story of how and why his church joined Sovereign Grace Ministries in 2005.

If you’ve ever wondered how established churches go about joining Sovereign Grace (a process we usually call “adoption,”) here’s an example of how it worked for one church. As Tim explains, the process usually involves building ministry relationships with Sovereign Grace pastors and churches over time.
